Minneapolis Education Bridge
Education Bridge is a program that strives to develop relationships between students in both Minneapolis and Israel. Schools from across the ocean are paired together and throughout the school year, students interact with each other through shared curriculum, exchanging letters, e-mails, photos, packages and video conferencing and so much more.

Highlights include:

  • More than  2,500 Minneapolis and Israeli students, along with 137 teachers, representing 128 classes participated in Education Bridge.
  • Teacher-to-teacher and student-to-student live video conferences taught about Jewish life in Minneapolis and in Israel. Additionally, students on both sides of the ocean had an opportunity to improve their English and Hebrew skills.
  • Educators’ mifgash (meeting) in Israel brought together 40 Education Bridge lead teachers and administrators to reflect upon the successes of the previous year and develop curriculum and programming for the coming year.
